Panthère des neiges (The Velvet Queen)

AFI hosted the screening of Panthère des neiges (The Velvet Queen) official selection at #cannes Film Festival 2021 and winner of the best documentary award at #César2022. A houseful audience thoroughly enjoyed the film. The film was followed by a presentation of the film and Q&A session by Dr. Muhammad Ali Nawaz, an ecologist and conservationist, and Assistant Professor at the Qatar University. He is also the Founder/director of the Snow Leopard Foundation. He underlined the importance and the difficulties in preserving snow leopards and also the role #France has played in this effort. He did his post-doc from Grenoble, France. Thank you to all those who came for the screening!
