“Forgotten Memories – The Parsis of Rawalpindi”

We’re delighted to share that the screening was a houseful event, held simultaneously in two rooms to accommodate the overwhelming response from our audience!

The evening featured a powerful documentary by Director Zafeer Butt, followed by an engaging discussion on the cultural legacy of the Parsi community in Rawalpindi.

We were honoured by the presence of our Chief Guest Mr. Isphanyar M. Bhandara, whose support added great value to the evening.

We were also privileged to have two notable historians of Rawalpindi, Mr. Sajjad Azhar and Mr. Ali Akber, as part of the panel discussion. They shared rare and enriching insights into the ancient and colonial history of Rawalpindi, adding historical depth to the narrative of the film.
