We’re Hiring: Director / Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Alliance Française d’Islamabad is seeking an experienced, visionary, and dynamic professional to serve as its next Director / Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, drive organisational growth, strengthen institutional performance, and uphold the mission and values of Alliance Française d’Islamabad while promoting excellence in French language education, cultural exchange, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide strong and inspiring leadership while fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Develop and implement a clear strategic vision aligned with the organisation’s mission and long-term objectives.
• Ensure effective planning, organisation, and timely execution of organisational priorities.
• Lead and mentor staff by promoting accountability, teamwork, and professional development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the Board of Directors, the Embassy of France, partners, sponsors, educational institutions, and other stakeholders.
• Promote innovation, cultural awareness, and excellence in all organisational activities.
• Oversee administrative, operational, financial, and institutional development to ensure sustainable growth.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
• Proven leadership and management experience in a senior executive role.
• Strong strategic thinking, planning, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent organisational, project management, and time management skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a transparent and collaborative leadership style.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
• Minimum B2 proficiency in French is mandatory.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Pakistan.
